Aware of the complex management requirements to be able to successfully supply certain biomass materials used in energy generation, CGC Biomass Management participates in various projects to implement collection, transport and pre-processing systems for solid biomass.

Within this business line we are participating both independently and in collaboration with other companies or local energy agencies. (collection of cotton stems, olive pruning residuals, grape cuttings, residuals from forestry management, etc…)

» Meeting the necessities of the client, matching the biomass production (according to seasonality) to the supply requirements in the plant where it is consumed.

The management of biomass is taken to be all the work required to physically transform the material so it can be used as a fuel. These can be considered as collection, breaking down the material, screening, packaging, transport, drying and storage of the biomass.
